Love, curry and diarrhoea pills.
A story of a madcap trip to India, Nepal and Pakistan by three hero-wannabes.

here we go again...

So here we are at the airport again, waiting at the departure "lounge" of the Budget Terminal waiting for our plane. Roger and I have been tour mates for a few trips already and the introduction of Tim will surely spice things up and add a new dimension to the travel experience.

Asia seems to be a permanent fixture in my travel destinations list, helped no less by the relative
cheapness of the price in comparison to Europe and America and the prospect of harrowing transport experiences and encountering some truly crazy and amazing people.

This trip to me is probably the biggest test of my backpacking abilities, at least in relation to Asia. India is known for its challenges and surprises presented to independent travellers.

Pakistan is the make or break portion of the trip. Apparently The Economist called Pakistan "the worlds most dangerous place." If we survive it, we can survive Chernobyl + WWII. Ok maybe not.

One step at a time though. We should be arriving in Chennai later at night, and hopefully we can find some accommodation. Otherwise we will sleep in the airport till the next day, before making our way to Chennai Central to take our train from Chennai to Calcutta.

I will miss my dog.
